Trapped In The Negatives The Crisis Key

As we know, Covid 19 pandemic sent shockwaves everywhere. We wore masks on our faces and attended meetings via Zoom. Churches and schools were closed and a sense of despair and angst washed over the world. You see I know Covid shook the social and society landscape we were so accustomed to, and frankly we are still accustomed to it. In the 5 and a half decades of my life I have come to know that in crises you do one or two things 1. You stay true to what you know and or 2. You renew and reinvent. I have been at both crossroads. For Covid, I did my best to stay true to what II would not have my wife Bllanca, mi hermosa Princesa. knew as a Restored Christian even though for 2 years it was very hard. But then by 2021 I felt the call by God and my own intuitive perspective to reinvent and renew myself spiritually and temporally. To protect my sanity I created an alter ego to help me in difficult times. I developed my own personal philosophy, as Jim Rohn puts it. I pivoted. And another thing, as bad as it hurt if there would’ve been no Covid,, I would not have my wife Blanca, mi hermosa Princesa. To be trapped in the negatives in crises is to simply stagnate. Many people’s growth stagnated during that time, and people are still out there blaming society. As a member of Toastmasters I know there is no excuse. In short, you have a multiple choice question, what do you do during crisis A. Remain true to what you know and B Reinvent and renew yourself to endure the crisis well or C. Stagnate your growth, and have everyybody wander why you are so miserable not tapping into your God given potential. In most cases A and B are correct, while C is a Dragon Culture copout! It doesn’t take a genius to figure out the answer. You can pick one or the other, or like me you can pick A and B. The choice is up to you. In Christ, Jimmy LGP

Welcome Pattern Realm      Indeed it has been a few days since I have written to you but I must impart to you what has been hidden deep in the soil of my mind for the past couple of weeks a gym that has come through some coaching by a mentor of mine bubba name of the Coach Presley Swaggerty.  He said "your team is either going and growing or it is drying and dying.". Excuses Lugging Success?

  Well Hello Pattern Realm,      This Labor Day weekend, I virtually watched the Impact event for ACN INC in Dallas Fort Worth, and I have to tell you I AM SU FIRED UP!!!!!!      I'm ready to get rid of excuses and have less contact with my limiting friends.  So let's through the hammer down.      One of the first speakers the first day of the convention mentioned using a tool to get rid of excuses (hammer?)      Not for me!  I grew up in a small oil capital in Texas, and I fondly remember the summer when I was 14, fresh home from summer camp.  I was at my Granddad's shop that he owned for the last 5 years of 6 n his life.      One morning I saw him take a car to the front of the shop, he jacked it up, took the hubcap off and took an electric wrench to take off the old lugnuts.      So when I think of getting rid of excuses, I think of using a wrench to take them off and throw t...

Overcoming Psychotic Depression

Greetings Pattern Realm      Today I wish to cover a very sensitive subject and it is the subject of a little known mental illness known as psychotic depression.      I began experiencing the symptoms of this back in mid-November to early December 1997 I would skip some of my classes and also barricade myself in my apartment.  My ex-wife calmly confronted me about this and so I called to set up an appointment with a psychiatrist.      The first diagnosis came on December 5 1997 Major depression with psychotic features.  I was prescribed risperidone and taken off of my antidepressant The doctor thinking that it might have triggered the psychosis.      At first the psychosis was triggered by anxiety but a few months later having moved to the inner city of Arlington Texas the psychosis turned for a while to anger so to the point that by February 1999 my marriage was busted over.  I wanted those people that I felt wa...
