Dominion Economics How Wealth is Good
Ladies and Gentlemen of Pattern Realm, I come to you today with this announcement, that wealth is good.
It's the truth. The fact is many Christians tighten up when money is mentioned. Scriptures teach us to be cautious about the subject. However please understand that wealth is not evil, its loving money more than Him.
From the Garden of Eden, God has brought forth abundance. Scriptural history is replete with people who prospered: Abraham, Joseph, and is who we shoudl love the msot.
1. The Dominion Law of Worship. "Thou shalt have no other gods before me." Exodus 20:3. Wealth, pursued instead of and apart from God is greed, which is not good. Loving and service to God comes first before pursuing weallth. But God and God alone
2. The Dominion Law of Tithing: Malachi 3 clearly states the claim of the Law of Tighing. I was brought up in a Baptist home where I was taught that tithing is 10 percent of your income. As a Latter-day Saint I still hold to that belief. Everything belongs to God, so it is a wise thing to give 10% of it back to God. Because it is his anyway!
The Dominion Law of Health: Now this is a personal one for me. Watch what you put in your bodies. I abstain from alcohol, tobacco, coffee and tea for personal faith reasons, and i have seen the benefits beyond belief.
The Dominion Law of Family: Now I can only state this from the viewpoint of a husband. "Husbands love your wife as Christ loveth the Church." (Ephpesians 5:25). If I pursued wealth as my life's work but ride roughshod over my wife Blanca's happiness, then what kind of man am I. Pay close attention to this Dominion Law because youf faith and family come first! I love Blanca with all my heart, and i will not pursue wealth at her expense!
KKing David. Notice that wealth doesn't make them righteous. It's righteous living and willingness to live the Dominion Laws that made them prosperous through righteous living.
