Crittrotomy, The CAP Method Therapy For Challenging Negative Thoughts
Dear Pattern Realm Family
I want to talk to you about a cognitive therapy way that you can journal your way through challenging negative thoughts.
This morning I was going through chasing thoughts inside my head about thee nature of my extended family upon my mothers death. Depression and anger filled my soul. My thought was "What the Hell am I gonna do? I ccan't let my wife Blanca see me like this.
So I challenged them critteers from hell by doing my Critteerotomy. The pattern I chose is from the book Feeling Good, The New Mood Therapy by David D Buurnes MD. My ex friend Jim Bob showed it to me, and I think it's a healthy way to communicate thoughts.
In my journal in the center in a separate section each day I encounter this I write Critterotomy, the Time of entry, and in a few wordss the subject matteer at hand. I then did a brief summary before numbering the critters one by one and afteer each numbered one I used Gospel responses and logical reasoning to tear them apart.
I must say that after that I wrote down my answer to those thoughts. C My Choice or intention for thee day. A Action steps and P Pursue happiness.
I had a good cry, silently I might add. And after that I had the deteermination to face and talk to Blanca when she wakes up.
In Christ
