Today I want to talk to you about the concept of eternal marriage. I joined the church of Jesus Christ of f

latter-day Saints roughly f 2 1/2 years after my ex-wife and I separated, regardless I spent 15 years waiting for my eternal companion. I dated once 16 years after waiting, but it was an ill faded romance as it was arranged by my brother who is not a member of The Church. At first, I thought that Alaya and I would make a cute couple, but then I discovered very quickly about a month and a half into the dating relationship that she didn’t want to marry into the church that she wanted me to renounce my priesthood and that she wanted me to break my covenant of Chasity to be with her. Needless to say after 2 1/2 months, I got tired of all the playing games with my values, and I broke it off with her.

V in 2020 I tried the church dating app mutual and I found two women that I was interested in that seemed to come close to my value, but it became very clear with both of them after two months of us being interested in each other that they were not interested in me I was crushed and swore off dating forever determined that this life I would not get married..

in January 20 23, the Missionaries introduced me to a woman that you know as Blanca, I met her in person once to discuss a business matter with her although she was not interested I was very taken with her because we had common and shared values. A year later in January 20 24, some friends of ours at church suggested that we sit together, you don’t know how much that means to someone like me who was very lonely. Within the month, when my father died, she started falling for me, but I resisted the idea of falling in love until June 24, 2024 wow skirting her to the ladies room and waiting for her to get out to go to Sunday school together, I noticed that I was falling for her, but I was concerned that she would not accept me because I was blind.

Been on July 12, 2024 that evening the Lord told me that he attended blood and died for my sins and sorrows, including my loneliness and was about to give me a piece of the answer to my prayers. I was supposed to have dinner that night with Blanca the couple that have introduced us and the Missionaries and I was instructed of the Holy Ghost to ask her out, we did and the rest of history.

On December 21, 2024 in front of a small group of family and friends we swore that we would be together till death to this part, but Blanca and I knew that that was only a small part of the puzzle. We both relieved in love that it should be everlasting, so here’s the three principles that I want to give it to you.

  1. God has designed marriage to be eternal. Jesus said in Mark 10:9 what God hath joined together let not man put asunder.

All goes well on September 13 of this year. Blanca and I will be sealed in the Lubbock Texas temple for time and all eternity never to be separated, even by death even if one of us was pretty deceased together in temples marriage is bound together under holy ordinances of the ceiling power Through keys

  1. Marriage reflects the eternal relationship between Christ and the church. Ephesians 5 gives plenty of analogies of how men are to love their wives as Christ loves the church . And believe it or not Christ bond with the church is eternal just like when Blanca and I will be sealed. Our bond will be forever because that is what we will take upon us in a holy temple of the Lord.
  2. God is a god of eternal covenant. Many of you who are Christians if you think about the back to the time that you got saved, did you not know that you’re agreeing to be saved is eternal? Did you not realize that your relationship with Jesus Christ must be eternal? If them God designed us to have an eternal covenant relationship with him and his son Jesus Christ, how much more is a relationship between a man and his wife.. that is why Blanca and I have talked about nothing else since we started dating and showing a deep interest in each other

Toastmasters A Tale of Two People

This is a hypothetical case study in favor of Toastmasters.      This is Brad.  He's a part-time economics teacher for his local school district.  In 2020 the pandemic hit leading him to be temporarily laid off from his job.  he had an opportunity to better himself when a friend invited him to Toastmasters.  However Brad said "this is for those brainiac people who love public speaking.  No thanks.".
