Principle-Centered Entrepreneurship.

Pattern Realm! I am excited grateful and delighted to present to you a feature blog I have based on my book The Winning Peronality, a Values-Based Approach in This Economy. These ten principles will help you as an entrepreneur rocket your way to success. 1. The Ambivert Personality: For entrepreneurs, the winning personality is not an extravert. It's not an introvert. Amiverts, the winning personality is in between. The reason why the first principle I put in is a personality because a personality of moderation is key to success. Look at ambiverts like Robert Kiyosaki, John F Kenedy, Ronald Reagan, and so on. 2. Leadership: Leadership has principles to go by. Management, as commonly discussed in business schools is obsolete and no longer works! True big entrepreneurs need to learn to be better leaders. Although, as Dr. John Maxwell put it they are not mutually exclusive. Being an effective leader as an entrepreneur means you don't always have to run the show. Leadership in fact more than just a one man show. Leadership takes a team effort! 3. Creativity: Creativity is a principle that is key for entrepreneurs. But in your creating, make sure you don't compromise your values. Despite conventional wisdom, creativity is a must to become a successful entrepreneur. 4. Discipline and Determination: Now we put some meat on the bone! Discipline and determination is a must if you want to succeed in this economy. If you have it and develop it daily through patterns and habits, you will rule the day. 5. Ethics: I know this could get me in hot water, but my ethics are based mostly on the Bible. Sure professions have codes of ethics. But ethics should really be a matter of conscience and faith. 6. Faith: Now suppose you don't believe in God and Jesus Christ. I absolutely do. But I believe you need to have faith is something beyond yourself or you cannot succeed in this economy. My faith is founded upon The Word of God and what the Lord has to say. 7. You need clear written goals, that principle is a must to be an entrepreneur that is successful! 8. Networking: You become who you hang out with. Check out Proverbs 13:20. Those who walk with the wise shall be wise. End of story. 9. Service: Service is a principle that I strongly believe in. Even when I become successful I want to serve my community, my state, and my country. 10. Adversity. Adversity has made me the strong man I am today.
