Heaven's Greetings Pattern Realm Today I wish to chronicle my life of self determination despite the pointed words of many naysaying experts. I was born on January 20, 1970 legally blind with multiple birth defects. Doctors told my parents, "He has the characteristics of a mongoloid child and will not live long." Again Heavenly Father had other plans because I stand before you alive and well at age 54. When I was 4, an eye doctor told my mother and the Ector County School Discrict that I was mentally challenged with no hope of a normal education. That Fall, I was enrolled in an early childhood program for 3 years and 1 year in a self conained classroom for the blind until my vision resource teacher, Jane Kraker, God rest her soul, fought the school district for my right to be mainstreamed. So in the Fall of 1978 I was finally mainstreamed into kindergarten! It took nearly 6 years for me to shed this "Slow learner" label the district had on me until my sixth grade teacher joined by my mother coached me out of that label. In the Fall of 1990, a pannel of state experts and school district experts declared me "unfit mentally for college." At this point I had a vision resource teacher for 7 years and she angrily told me to fight for my rights, showing her anger at the state for repeatedly depriving me. Then in July 1991 while I was at Criss Cole Rehabilitation Center, the State caseworker made it personal, reducing my mother to tears. My friends who were attending the rehab center told me that the state of Texas in my case was in violation of Section 504 of The Rehabilitation Àct of 1973.  Some friends of mine were members of the national federation of the blind with ties to the Texas affiliate.  They told me that this organization could take my cause to the Texas legislature even the courts. 
     Hearing my determination to fight for my rights my rehab counselor at the center drew me out of the cafeteria and into the Hall. 
     "Will allow you to get the college education when you want just please don't contact the NFB!"
     Yet almost all through my college education the state experts along with some point of important experts labeled me enough unfit for college and almost calling me crazy, still keeping to the personal attack s however that made me fight with mad dog determination! 
     From January to June 1997 the fight became really personal when I asked the state to provide me a computer for college.  Wanting to avoid my then fiance's rap I contacted the national federation of the blind Texas affiliate.  One day before our wedding I was called by a rather peeved State expert saying that I was going to get a used computer.  A few of my friends assessing the situation got really personal with the state but I told them to leave it alone being grateful. 
     It may 1998 I received my bachelor's degree in Political Science minoring in Mass Communication.  To all those negative naysayers I say, "how do you like me now that I have the scrambled eggs that's in my brain?"
     Never let anyone tell you anything that you can't do anything.  Plenty of that going on in today's degenerate culture.  Why should you believe so-called expert feeling out negative venom? 
     I'm happy that I have overcome many adversities.  Some of them over the past 6 years have been very deep but I have always made it through.

The Cry of The Herd

Hi Pattern Realm, Jimmy is on autopilot, so you're stuck with me on this post.      Dreamers nowadays often feel more isolated because of the cry of The Herd.  "Everybody's doing it" has been a catch phrase for 6 decades and it seems to be getting worse.       Herdthink or is President Donald Trump is finally putting it groupthink is a concept with people full of dream steamers.  Don't let the herd come out and steal your dream have confidence to blaze your own path.       The herd seems to have its own thinking of what's right and wrong with a world ever turning gray.  But it doesn't matter to ole JR.  Wrong is wrong and right is right.  In Christ  JR EYP

Mass Media for Entrepreneurs

Hello Pattern Realm       This topic has been pretty strong on my mind all morning and so this afternoon I figured I would sit down and talk about the various mass media which entrepreneurs can use.       It's customary for most people to think all of the things that the only media outlet is for entrepreneurs to be in social media. That's all and good but here's the is the reasonable question.   What mass media can be best suited for On Cameron's based on preferenc?       I mean social media is OK but in other words it leaves a lot to be desired.   It takes a lot for entrepreneurs just starting out to write out attention getting posts for people.   Not to mention something that I have been saying for the past 4 years is that social media is too much a part of our distractive defiant culture.   There are other areas of mass media which we can study. 1.     Radio and television..  ...
