Leadership is Earned

Greetings Pattern Realm, 
 A lot of the wisdom in this discourse is wisdom derived from lessons I received from my mother. In my audio podcast and on YouTube, I have started a miniseries within my series Pattern Enterprise known as "Lessons from Mama." This Christmas I had a chance to sit down and have a lovely discussion with Mama about how I wanted to expand my role with Odessa Toastmasters. Even though Mama is in poor health, her words ring true through all the years. "Honey, if you're gonna be a leader, make sure you are wise and do it for the right reasons." Yes that's right. Leadership is earned. I hope in the annals of history that people after I'm gone can look back and say that I was a great leader, but I also agree with Mama. Keep it real, and keep it humble.. I started wanting to be a leader in elementary school, but especially in junior high my grandfather and mother took over in teaching me about leadership. Mama made sure that I know was that leadership was not about this reactive power kick of "Listen to me or else!" Enough of that is going on in political circles these days. The Cry of The Herd

Hi Pattern Realm, Jimmy is on autopilot, so you're stuck with me on this post.      Dreamers nowadays often feel more isolated because of the cry of The Herd.  "Everybody's doing it" has been a catch phrase for 6 decades and it seems to be getting worse.       Herdthink or is President Donald Trump is finally putting it groupthink is a concept with people full of dream steamers.  Don't let the herd come out and steal your dream have confidence to blaze your own path.       The herd seems to have its own thinking of what's right and wrong with a world ever turning gray.  But it doesn't matter to ole JR.  Wrong is wrong and right is right.  In Christ  JR EYP

Mass Media for Entrepreneurs

Hello Pattern Realm       This topic has been pretty strong on my mind all morning and so this afternoon I figured I would sit down and talk about the various mass media which entrepreneurs can use.       It's customary for most people to think all of the things that the only media outlet is for entrepreneurs to be in social media.
