Public Speaking #1 Fear

     It's obvious!
     Public speaking is still the number one fear in America and some people say that they would much rather ride a roller coaster than to do a public speech.
     But did you know that Publix speaking is an in demand skill in this economy for entrepreneurs and leaders it has to be a must.
     Don't be scared in my current leadership role at Toastmasters I have coached the variety of people who started out very scared to give a public speech.
     A local Toastmasters Club can help. The mission of Toastmasters is to provide a supportive environment to help members in local clubs and Beyond to develop great public speaking skills with positive feedback and constructive criticism feedback.  I've been a member of Toastmasters for almost 5 years and despite all the ups and downs I have to say that the club experience at postmasters is wonderful.
     If you live in the Midland Odessa area Odessa Toastmasters meet every Wednesday at 12:00 p.m. central at the Frost Bank on the corner of 8th and Texas in downtown Odessa unfortunately we have no virtual or hybrid components to our meetings but it is my hope that you can find an ideal online Club but if you are in the middle of this area and want to develop your public speaking skills or Advance your career in Communications and Leadership skills Odessa Toastmasters can be your answer.

The Cry of The Herd

Hi Pattern Realm, Jimmy is on autopilot, so you're stuck with me on this post.      Dreamers nowadays often feel more isolated because of the cry of The Herd.  "Everybody's doing it" has been a catch phrase for 6 decades and it seems to be getting worse.       Herdthink or is President Donald Trump is finally putting it groupthink is a concept with people full of dream steamers.  Don't let the herd come out and steal your dream have confidence to blaze your own path.       The herd seems to have its own thinking of what's right and wrong with a world ever turning gray.  But it doesn't matter to ole JR.  Wrong is wrong and right is right.  In Christ  JR EYP
