Toastmasters Changed My Life

     In 2018 I begin my journey as a lost aimless podcaster but in January 3019 it all began to change.
     On January 20th 2019 the day of my 49th birthday after church I had a birthday lunch party with Bishop Dave and his extended family.  During the festivities I stood up and announced it this was going to be the year that I was going to be a published author.   3 days later at the urging of Bishop Dave and his family I joined my local Toastmasters Club Odessa Toastmasters.
     If you live in the Permian Basin area in Texas we meet Wednesdays at noon at the Frost Bank in downtown Odessa on the corner of 8th and Texas.  Unfortunately we don't have a hybrid setup but if you're not in the area please feel free to find and join the club that fits your style.
     I started writing my book in January 2015 I finished it in early April 2019.  Then I had a setback where I was laid up for a couple of months but with a little coaxing from friends from church and Toastmasters on July 16th 2019 I became a published author of my book The Winning Personality a Value  Based Approach to Entrepreneurship in This Economy.
     I have been exposed to many types of thought leaders because of Toastmasters and my communication and Leadership skills other than the next almost 5 years had really blossomed I look forward to my 5-year anniversary in Toastmasters.  Toastmasters changed my life!

Mass Media for Entrepreneurs

Hello Pattern Realm       This topic has been pretty strong on my mind all morning and so this afternoon I figured I would sit down and talk about the various mass media which entrepreneurs can use.       It's customary for most people to think all of the things that the only media outlet is for entrepreneurs to be in social media. That's all and good but here's the is the reasonable question.   What mass media can be best suited for On Cameron's based on preferenc?       I mean social media is OK but in other words it leaves a lot to be desired.   It takes a lot for entrepreneurs just starting out to write out attention getting posts for people.   Not to mention something that I have been saying for the past 4 years is that social media is too much a part of our distractive defiant culture.   There are other areas of mass media which we can study. 1.     Radio and television..  ...

The Cry of The Herd

Hi Pattern Realm, Jimmy is on autopilot, so you're stuck with me on this post.      Dreamers nowadays often feel more isolated because of the cry of The Herd.  "Everybody's doing it" has been a catch phrase for 6 decades and it seems to be getting worse.       Herdthink or is President Donald Trump is finally putting it groupthink is a concept with people full of dream steamers.  Don't let the herd come out and steal your dream have confidence to blaze your own path.       The herd seems to have its own thinking of what's right and wrong with a world ever turning gray.  But it doesn't matter to ole JR.  Wrong is wrong and right is right.  In Christ  JR EYP
