The Problem with Fear

Good tidings pattern Realm
What is the biggest problem in society?  Not necessarily inflation and I'm not talking about the drugs from Mexico like fentanyl even though those are of grave concern.  No the problem I want to stress today is the problem of fear.
There I said it.  I went to journalism school for about 4 years and one thing that they stress is if it bleeds it leads and so the news media on either the left or the right side of the aisle is trying to reveal fear to its audiences to keep them hooked.
Another culprit and you can passionately disagree with me in some ways is social media.  Dispute with me all that you want, but you'd be surprised if some of the people you choose to follow on social media might be purveyors of fear.  Now there are exceptions and I'm not saying that social media is all bad.  But fear is another distraction tool that can be used to get in the way of success
When I was in my twenties I would listen to sermons with friends that talked about fear and how to overcome it and I didn't think it was that too big of a deal back then.

But in February of 1999 I came home from the inner cities of Arlington Texas and you talk about fear.  For 25 years fear has been one of my primal emotions and for the past 5 years ever since I started my podcast Empower Your Pattern I have been on a quest to overcome fear and to help others overcome fear.  I have some ideals for you.
1.  Watch what you put into your spirit.  I remember computer class in junior high school in high school where they talked about garbage in and garbage out was also something that was a part of a speech class I took in the 8th grade.  Being a kid at times I live in one ear and out the other.  But by the time I reached my mid to like 20s that all began to change.  I'm not saying that there isn't healthy fear but if you put things that conveys fear in your spirit then fear is going to come out.
After what I experienced for 9 months in the inner city of Arlington Texas and especially after COVID I vowed I would never live in fear again.  Why should I?  Fear keeps you mind-numbed and trapped.  Believe me I've been through some of those times mind numb and trapped.  It's only during COVID and the last part of my life in inner city Arlington Texas that I finally put my foot down and said enough!!!!  You can too.
