Toastmasters A Tale of Two People

This is a hypothetical case study in favor of Toastmasters.
     This is Brad.  He's a part-time economics teacher for his local school district.  In 2020 the pandemic hit leading him to be temporarily laid off from his job.  he had an opportunity to better himself when a friend invited him to Toastmasters.  However Brad said "this is for those brainiac people who love public speaking.  No thanks.". Brad had a hard time finding a job until he could go back to teaching school and this appeared as an employment gap on his resume.
     Here's another case.  This is Blair a blogger journalist.  When the pandemic hit the company that provided the news laid off Blair to make budget cuts.  But at the caring insistence of a friend Blair joinedToastmasters.  He's sharpened his public speaking coaching and leadership skills.  As a result Blair has decided he wants to be a speaker and life coach.  Yes he continues his journalistic blogs but he sees the news from a different viewpoint.  Yes clubs like Odessa Toastmasters make a big difference
